Meori Beauty Co., Ltd. (“Meori,” “we,” or “us”) operates meoribeauty.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit, shop, or subscribe, how we use and share it, and the rights you have over it. By using the Site you consent to the practices described here.

What we collect

When you place an order, create an account, or join our newsletter, we collect the information you provide directly — your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number (where given), and order history. When you browse the Site, we automatically collect limited device and usage data: IP address, browser and operating system, referring pages, the pages you view, and analytics cookies that help us understand how Meori is being used.

How we use it

We use your information to fulfill and ship orders, process payments, provide customer care, send transactional messages (order confirmations, shipping updates, returns), and — with your consent — to send marketing emails and SMS about new formulations, rituals, and offers. Aggregate analytics help us improve the Site, the product, and the experience of visiting our atelier online.

Third parties

We rely on a small set of trusted processors to run the Site. Shopify powers our storefront, checkout, and payments. Klaviyo handles our email and SMS marketing. Yotpo manages reviews and ratings. Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel provide aggregate traffic and campaign analytics. Each of these providers has its own privacy policy and only processes the data necessary to deliver the service we use them for. We never sell your personal information.

Cookies & tracking

We use first-party cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your cart, and third-party cookies for analytics and advertising measurement. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the Site will still work, but some features may be limited. Where required by law (for example, in the EU and UK) we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, port, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. EU and UK residents have these rights under the GDPR; California residents have comparable rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell, and we honor Global Privacy Control signals). Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described above, or as required by tax, accounting, and consumer-protection law. Order records are typically retained for seven years. Marketing contacts are retained until you unsubscribe, and analytics data is retained in aggregate form.
